For a while now I have been wanting a horse to call my own. I've had multiple leases and plenty of opportunities to ride at my job and care for horses. But it's not the same as having your name down as the owner of a horse. I made powerpoint presentations for years, wrote letters, created whole binders full of information and me begging my parents for my own horse. None of this worked, until this winter. They finally gave in to all my pleading and my amazing amount of research. There is a huge list of requirements that I have to fulfill before I can officially start looking for horses, but I can't wait either way. Technically, the start of my search can begin in March. I really has yet to sink in for me, but I can't wait for the day that it does. This past weekend I completed step one, which is maintaining a B average throughout my second quarter of Junior year. This was said to be the impossible, but I managed to pull it off and I am extremely proud of mys elf for it. I can't wait to dive into the full swing horse searching. My hope is that I can find a horse that will take me to a new height in the equestrian world and give me what I need to succeed in life. I would like to be able to find either a bay, black or grey gelding that is around sixteen hands or higher, that has some super adorable face marking and can jump high enough. I would like to be able to start eventing with this new horse of mine, because I have always found it amazingly cool and have always wanted to try it. Maybe I will find the absolutely perfect horse soon, wish me luck!
Thanks! Your brochure will be on its way shortly.
