What is the Hampton Classic?
Is the premiere place to be if you love horses! The classic is the second horse show that has the status of Heritage Competition by the United States Equestrian Federation. This prestigious title is given to competitions that have been in continuous existence for at least 25 years and provide a meaningful contribution to their communities.
The Hampton Classic contains several unique events. These include the following:
The Hunter Divisions feature four rings, where ponies to professional horses demonstrate their skills.
Young Jumpers Championships
The Hampton Classic is also the venue for the final round of the Young Jumpers Championships, a special competition for 5,6,7, and 8-year-old horses.
Hampton Classic Leadline
The Classic also consists of the Hampton Classic Leadline in which a famous athlete judges various ponies.
This year, Mr. Joe Fargis, an American show jumping champion who won the gold medal in individual jumping at the 1984 Summer Olympics, will serve as the judge.
The Hampton Classic will also contain an exhibition area for horse companies to showcase their businesses and provide opportunities for them to network with zealous equestrian fans and owners.
Oftentimes, famous actors and actresses attend the Hampton Classic. Thus, even if you are not into horses, you still have the opportunity to meet famous celebrities.
