Let me introduce myself (and this is the short version) – I'm a 60-something female rider and although I've been riding since childhood, I didn't return to horse ownership until 2006. It was at that time when I acquired my beautiful, smart and quirky off-track Thoroughbred. His Jockey Club name is "Class Always Shows" but I call him Valentino or Valie for short.
He is the equine love of my life and will be with me as long as he is comfortable and happy on this earth. As a matter of fact, I'm so concerned about his welfare that I've included him in my will should I predecease him and I strongly suggest that all horse owners follow my lead. My advice, as a Legal Professional myself, is to find a well respected Equine Attorney in your geographic area, or if that's not possible, do a web search for this legal specialty and start a list of possible candidates, one that will do their best to guide you in the right direction.
When you find an Equine Attorney with good reviews, learn about what adding your horse to your will entails (no pun intended!) and how it benefits you and your horse.
In addition to my blog posts about the ongoing progress Valie and I make in our quest for our personal best as a team, I'll be posting product reviews as I have an extensive list of tack and equestrian apparel shops throughout the USA and I enjoy keeping up with the trends and innovations and finding the best bargain at the same time!
So stay tuned for some laughs and know that, for now, this is the end of this little intro but I will return soon to expound a whole lot more on my life with my horse.
