The progression of life is signified by not remaining stationary in one phase for too long, especially a phase that is not beneficial for any of the parties involved. This rule applies directly to marriage and divorce, both being parts of life that show progress, one that brings two people together for the better and the other that allows them to part for mutual benefit.
Statistics show that the divorce rate in America is very high. Therefore celebrities are not the only people who might feel like their marriage has run its course, and part ways as a result. One such celebrity is The Big Bang Theory’s famous Kaley Cuoco, who recently ended her two-year marriage with Ryan Sweeting. The divorce paved the way for her to buy herself a lovely horse, in order to divert her attention from the situation.
Rise to Fame
One of today's highest paid actresses, Cuoco started acting at the young age of 10 in Virtuosity, an action thriller. However, she later found her calling on television in ABC’s 8 Simple Rules, playing Bridget Henessey. The show started in 2002 and ended in 2005, but gained Cuoco a considerable fan base.
Fast forward to 2007, she started her role as Penny on the CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory. Penny is an aspiring actress who works as a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory and lives next-door to two scientists. For the first three years, she earned a total of $60,000 per episode, while the amount was raised to $200,000 per episode after 2010. Later, in 2014, the amount was further raised to a whopping $1 million per episode along with co-stars John Galecki and Jim Parsons.
While her character dated John Galecki’s, Leonard Hofstader, on-screen, Cuoco and Galecki also dated off-screen for about two years before parting as friends. Cuoco then began dating addiction specialist Resnik in 2011 and even became engaged to him before ending their engagement in 2012. Kaley then began dating professional tennis star, Ryan Sweeting in 2013. The couple were engaged only three months after dating and got married in an Ice and Fire themed wedding in December 2013. While speculations of the couple splitting began a few weeks ago, the couple confirmed their split earlier this Friday.
Cuoco’s Love for Horses
Kaley has long been a competitive horse-rider. Earlier in September 2010, she broke her leg in a horse-riding accident and had to miss two episodes of The Big Bang Theory as a result. Due to the fact that she often spends her time horse-riding in the outskirts of LA, it was no surprise that she bought herself a horse recently. Her divorce paved the way for a lovely horse to enter her life. She named the horse Zaza, apparent from the caption of the Instagram post showing her with the horse.
Earlier she was seen competing in a horse-jumping event that took place at the Flintridge Autumn Classic in La Cañada Flintridge, California. Keeping in mind the amount of emotional stress a divorce can cause, it goes without saying that the horse that has paved its way into Kaley's life is going to provide tremendous amounts of emotional support.
