Still not shedding out!

As long as we have been involved in horses, the first sign of spring has always been the huge piles of shed hair on the floor after grooming but this year it's not looking too good here in Wisconsin.

We have had to blanket our horse most of this winter, and he has yet to shed any hair!  I am always amazed at how the horses seem to know when it's really time to shed out and this year I cannot wait! It's been a VERY long winter, and we had 4 inches of snow and 40 mile an hour winds last night so winter is still hanging on!

So, Mother Nature, if you're reading this- please send in the warm breezes and let our horses shed out now, PLEASE!
