My Good Producing Mares!

This is my third post as I continue to share my story!  I am a small breeder with only 2 broodmares but they have certainly produced some wonderful babies for me.  My oldest mare, Bitsy Pine Sun has produced a All-American Quarter Horse Congress Champion.  Emma Bit of Chex won the title in 2004 as a Yearling when she was won the Open Lunge Line class.  The following year she came back under saddle in the 2 Year Old GMC Western Pleasure class and placed 7th out of 154 entries.

Maker Miss Ellie is my other broodmare and has only produced 3 babies so far but is in foal again for 2013.  All of her foals have been by Ovations Only, a son of Invitation Only.  Her first foal, now a 3 year old, was a black stud colt.  He is a futurity winner and has AQHA points in Trail and Performance Halter.  The second baby was a sorrel filly and she now lives in Mississippi.  The third baby (2011) is another black stud colt who has become a Facebook sensation!  His new owner made him his own Facebook page and he is really popular.  His name is Only Standing Ovations and we call him Maverick.  He is beautiful, check him out on his Facebook page!

Next spring, both mares are in foal and I'm anxious to have new babies again.  Raising good quality foals and placing them in excellent homes is a true passion of mine.  Bitsy Pine Sun is in foal to Presidential Order, a full brother to one of AQHA's leading sires, Certain Potential.  Maker Miss Ellie is in foal again to Ovations Only.  Why mess with an excellent cross?

There is more information and additional photos on my horse Facebook page if you are interested in seeing my foals and more photos of the two best mares around!  Look for Triangle B Quarter Horses

I look forward to blogging about taking care of my broodmares during the winter and preparing them for foaling.  I hope you will join me!

Yes! Send me a full color horse trailer brochure from Featherlite.

Thanks! Your brochure will be on its way shortly.

I am enjoying reading your posts. Please keep them coming! voted! My new piece is Dedication Towards a Work Colleague, a touching account of how police are treating a horse as though it was human. Let me know what you think, and vote if you enjoy it!
