My Cross-County Experience

Yesterday I went to my friends barn, where there were a few horses that needed to be schooled. My horse's name was Auggie. He is was a super cute horse that everyone called "The Rhino". Me and my two friends got on our ponies and walked down to the little ring at the bottom of a hill. We warmed up and popped over a few little fences, we were having a great time, but time was passing slowly and we still had 45 minutes. We decided to go into the field surrounding the ring.

We walked out of the ring into the big field and started trotting around. My friend (who boards her horse at that barn) showed us where the jumps were. We chose to jump a little log because the other jumps were pretty big, and they wern't our horses. Our horses got very excited as we started cantering around and jumping the logs. It was amazing!

I have never done cross-country before and I know that this hardly counts but it was fantastic! It was beautiful out there because the sun was setting and it was warm and we were all laughing and having a great time. It was an awesome experience and I really hope I get to do it again sometime!

Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Yes! Send me a full color horse trailer brochure from Featherlite.

Thanks! Your brochure will be on its way shortly.
