Five Riding Facilities to Enjoy in Beautiful Idaho

Idaho is famous for skiing, hunting, white water rafting, rodeos, beautiful forests and picturesque water ways. Accommodations are plentiful in Idaho that cater to those training horses for any kind of riding as well. Here is a listing of five fantastic facilities available for training, riding and other forms of equine enjoyment:

Kaizen Farm in Meridian, Idaho

This farm has a number of programs and opportunities for the horse lover. The name is Japanese for "continuous improvement" and it is their philosophy to help each client learn and improve at their individual pace. They have been giving riding lessons since 1997 and is located a few miles outside of Meridian, Idaho.

Lockey U Outfitters in Riggins, Idaho

Located in north central Idaho in Nez Perce National Forest. They have many experienced guides and are known for offering opportunities to hunt trophy game. In the summer, it is a unique spot for those who would enjoy going back in time to the homestead days of the late 1800's while staying at the Barton Cabin.

McCallum Quarter Horses in Caldwell, Idaho

These equine lovers at this facility work in training, showing, AstroClu, English lesson, judging, and lay-up care. The owner has been riding and showing horses all of her life. She moved to Idaho in 1993 and comes from California where she apprenticed with world class trainers.
